Philippians 4:13 AMP

I can do all things which He has called me to do through Him who strengthens and empowers me to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.

"My most important future contribution to others will be LIVING and leaving the legacy of inspiration- and hope- that we can do all things through Christ and demonstrate that  consistently pursuing love and walking in forgiveness are the keys to open doors."-Melissa

Melissa Weathersby grew up at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.  She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Management) from Southwest Texas State University, and her MBA (Management) from Webster University, and her Doctorate of Education degree with a specialization in Higher Education and Adult Learning from Walden University. Melissa’s professional management background includes banking, academics, real estate, and entrepreneurship.

Spiritually speaking, Melissa is a strong woman of faith. Her Christian walk has led her to become an ordained Apostle and Pastor who wears a prophetic mantle.  She has a heart for all she serves.

Melissa is also an avid equestrian. She began riding at the age of 3 and received formal instruction at Fort Sam Houston’s riding academy. She rode Hunter/Jumper Pentathlon horses for 7 years before “earning” the privilege of having her own horse. Switching disciplines from English riding to Western riding, she was a former high school rodeo queen and a member of the Southwest Texas State rodeo team. She continues to ride and is looking forward to enjoying her Foundation-bred Quarter Horse mare much more now that her dissertation journey is complete. She is an active member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
